Jin Hong is a University-Appointed Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Nanchang University. Born in 1991 in Yugan, Jiangxi Province, she received her Ph.D. in Science from Sun Yat-sen University, with joint training at the University of Leicester, UK under the supervision of Prof. Yudong Zhang (currently Chair Professor of Southeast University and Yangtze River Scholar Chair Professor of the Ministry of Education). She subsequently worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Chinese University of Hong Kong with Prof. Weitian Chen as her co-supervisor, and was elected as a Full Member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society (USA) in 2023. Her research interests focus on deep learning, artificial intelligence in healthcare and medical image analysis. She has presided over 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China project and 1 Natural Science Foundation of Jiangxi Province project, and participated in 3 additional National Natural Science Foundation of China projects. She has published over 30 papers in domestic and international journals and conferences, including 21 SCI papers as first/corresponding author in top journals such as Knowledge-Based Systems, Neural Networks and IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, with 1 paper listed as an ESI Highly Cited Paper. Her work has received 1152 total citations on Google Scholar with an H-index of 17. She serves as an Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Science, Technology and Society, a Young Editorial Board Member of Brain-X, a Guest Editor-in-Chief/Guest Editor for 7 international journals, and a reviewer for numerous prestigious international journals including Information Fusion and Expert Systems with Applications.
