
Shengbo Chen is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor holding a Doctor of Engineering degree. He received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2006 and 2008 respectively, and obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University, USA in 2013. From 2013 to 2019, he worked at Qualcomm Research Institute, the research arm of Qualcomm Incorporated—a world-leading chip manufacturing giant. His research interests span artificial intelligence, 5G communications and computer networks. He has presided over three research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Municipal Major Science and Technology Special Project, published more than 20 papers in top-tier journals and conferences in his field, filed over 50 international patents, and been awarded the Best Paper Awards at IEEE Wiopt and ICRAIC.
