Zhiwei Chen is a Distinguished Research Fellow at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Nanchang University, who has been selected for the university's High-Level Introduced Talent Program. He serves as a Committee Member of both the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition and the Special Committee on Computer Vision of the China Computer Federation (CCF). His main research interests cover artificial intelligence, computer vision and multimodal learning, with a long-term focus on key theories and methods of weakly supervised visual object perception and localization in complex scenarios. He has published 18 academic papers in high-level international journals and conferences, including 9 as first/corresponding author, 10 CCF-A class papers and 2 JCR Q1 SCI papers, with representative works appearing in top venues such as TPAMI, TNNLS, ICCV and CVPR. He currently presides over the NSFC Youth Science Fund Project, Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation Youth Project and Jiangxi Province Early Career Young Talent Training Program, and has participated in 3 NSFC General Programs.
