Yunjun Yu is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Nanchang University, who received his Ph.D. in Science from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was a Joint Postdoctoral Fellow at Tsinghua University and Jiangxi Electric Power Company from 2015 to 2018, a Visiting Scholar at New York University (USA) from 2016 to 2017, a DAAD Scholar at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Germany) in 2010, and a Visiting Scholar at the Austrian Institute of Technology in 2011. He has served as Vice Dean of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Industry at Nanchang University since August 2018, Deputy Secretary-General of the Jiangxi Provincial Digital Economy Society since April 2021, Deputy Director of its Digital Countryside Special Committee since October 2021, Director of Jiangxi Provincial Investment Group since December 2021, and Director of the Department of Automation at Nanchang University from February 2022 to November 2023. His long-term research focuses on digital technologies, including FPGA-based AI algorithm acceleration, digital ophthalmic image processing, smart grid technology and digital countryside, with applications in intelligent photovoltaic power generation, intelligent microgrids and value realization of ecological products. He has presided over 1 National International Science and Technology Cooperation Program, 1 NSFC project and 5 provincial and ministerial-level projects, and participated in multiple national projects. He has published over 70 academic papers (including 20+ SCI papers), filed over 30 national invention patents (8 authorized), and received numerous awards including the Second Prize of Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and the IEEE RCAR 2018 Best Paper Award.
